A national tour operator was taking Italian travellers to Japan. The problem was easy to describe and hard to solve: the team could not be there twenty-four hours a day, and travellers needed answers when they needed them, not when the office opened.
Lost luggage at three in the morning. A booking to move. A missed train.
The first Chattoo was built to close that distance: the bridge between the traveller and the concierge on the ground, available at any hour, able to actually resolve rather than merely reply.
Over time, promoting the tours joined the support work, and support became a way to add to the travel experience as well.
Answering is not enough.
Out of that experience came the thing that still sets Chattoo apart: an answer that produces nothing is a lost answer.
A traveller asking to move a booking does not want to be heard: they want the booking moved. The same goes for someone looking for a table, an appointment, a quote.
That is why every conversation has to reach a result: an appointment in the calendar, an order recorded, a report someone can use.
Present everywhere, without multiplying the work.
Customers do not pick a channel: they use whatever is in their hand at that moment. Businesses, on the other hand, are forced to pick one, because covering them all costs too much.
We want to remove that choice. A one-person business and a company with twenty sites should both be able to be present wherever their customers look for them, with the same quality of answer and without multiplying the work.
